My name is Brian Johnson, and I’m an ordinary pastor. After a few years in the pulpit, reality has set in. I now know the greatest achievement in pulpit ministry is faithfulness to God and His Word. So I, with countless and nameless others, seek to honor God as an ordinary man of faith. In this I’m thankful for the humbling reminder that we do not exist to make much of ourselves, but we exist to make much of Jesus.

In this blog you will find links that are helpful. You will also find various articles I’ve written. Some of my sermons will also be found here. Hopefully God will bless you through the content.

God Bless,

Brian Johnson

  1. Sarah Miller says:

Brian, Please keep preaching Grace. We all need to hear it over and over and over, and it is after all, the gospel. It’s the truth of God’s love for us in an extremely unloving world and the only thing we really have to hang on to. You CAN”T over preach it! I do appreciate your willingness to confess your own shortcomings to all of us, but really, there is no fault in you, no condemnation, because of Grace. I truly believe and expect to begin to see those “signs and wonders” of healing, deliverance and restoration that will follow this teaching, just as happened when the followers of Jesus preached and taught this truth as we see in scripture. Our hearts grab onto it and faith begins to grow and as we give place to the Holy Spirit, He will manifest Himself in our presence.

Incidently, if you haven’t read Max Lucado”s book, “He Chose the Nails”, get a copy, grab some kleenex and start reading. If it doesn’t melt your heart, I don’t know what will. It’s right up there with C.S.Lewis in my opinion, just not as intellectual.

Again, thanks for being diligent and unpretentious, dedicated and open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. May God richly bless you and your family.
