Pastor’s Corner–6/29/14

Posted: June 26, 2014 in Pastor's Corner

The Fourth of July is headed our way. With the summer in full swing we are all busy about the busyness of summer. In step with last weeks message, let’s not be taken captive by the tempest of summer. Rejoice in the goodness of God in all things, while remembering and worshipping the one to whom we are captive. Even with the increase of activity in the summer, my hope is that you walk by faith examining your own heart regarding what takes you captive, other than Jesus Christ.

This Sunday we will continue in the letter to the church at Colossae. The apostle Paul continues to present Jesus Christ as the all in all, as he has brought us from death to life and circumcised us with a circumcision not made by hands. By God’s grace we will worship together, in the name of Jesus Christ, as we explore the reality of being made alive together with Christ, by the powerful working of God.

God Bless,

Pastor Brian
